What to do first
Do not begin with random full mocks. First solve real PYQs by year or subject so your baseline comes from actual UPSC framing.
- Solve one recent PYQ paper without notes.
- Review every wrong answer by trap type.
- Then take a timed mock and compare the score pattern.
